November 2009 - quick summary

For Thanksgiving, we took the girls to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They loved the huge balloons. Then we came home & had a nice Thanksgiving dinner, and Angela put it on our nicest china and used our goldware (which has never before been used in 7.5 years of marriage). So we felt like this was a really special occasion! We're grateful for our health and family and lots of other things we won't make you read.

Angela wanted to see Broadway show"Billy Elliot" because it won best musical and featured a lot of dancing, so we went on a hot date to see it while some kind friends watched the girls. We were warned the night before about some frequent use of the f-bomb, and that was a little bit of an understatement. The heavy English accents helped hide some of them, but it was still a little too much, especially when the child actors were dropping f-bombs. Didn't they see Napoleon Dynamite?
We went with a group of friends from church to see the Utah Jazz play @ Madison Square Garden. D-Will & the boys came through for a big win against the Knicks, and the kids had a great time clapping all the thunder sticks that Sylvia Orton gave us @ the last Jazz game we went to last Christmas.

Analise had her last soccer game. She loved playing more each week. She was still mostly afraid of the ball, but she loved running around w/ her friends.

Angela and a nice group of friends here in the ward had what is being called "the party of the century" in these parts. I can't really describe how extravagant this party was, so I will say 2 things: 1) You HAVE TO check out the official website for the party. http://twilightsagaparties.blogspot.com/

You really HAVE TO check the website out. Especially if you love Twilight. And don't try to replicate it, it can't be done. For those of you that love Twilight a lot, you will really appreciate the herculean effort that was put into this party. 2) I really don't think my children's wedding receptions will be as nice as this party was. Unless Ryan and the other girls do wedding receptions???

Here's Angela being greeted at the door (which had its own red carpet & Paparazzi) by Edward Cullen. Hands off buddy.
